Position Description

Overview
As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to obstetrics patients independently within accepted guidelines. This role offers daily challenges and endless learning opportunities in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
● Prescribing and coordinating professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients
● Carrying out responsibilities independently within accepted nursing practice guidelines
● Assessing, planning, organizing, supervising, providing, and evaluating nursing care utilizing the nursing process
● Cross-training in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite
● Working alongside a well-established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment

Schedule and Shift Details
● 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 1+ years of experience with Labor and Delivery (L&D)
• 1+ years of experience with Fetal Monitoring
• 1+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Other EMR or EHR Implementation
• Valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) or Registered Nurse (RN) in New Hampshire (NH) certifications/licenses
• Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certifications/licenses
• Valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification/license
