Welcome NHAOHN members to 2026!
Posted 10 days ago by Joanne Stemska
In March 2024, the New Hampshire Association of Occupational Health Nurses (NHAOHN) Board and association members met to assess the chapter’s future, including the difficult possibility of closure. Fortunately, several dedicated members stepped forward to serve in key leadership roles, ensuring the continuation of the association and reaffirming our shared commitment to advancing occupational health nursing in New Hampshire.
We are excited to announce our new 2026 Board of Directors for NHAOHN! Our current board members are:
Joanne Stemska, BSN, RN - President
Jennifer Hale, MSN, APRN, COHN - Vice President & Secretary
Brooklyn Shatney, RN - Treasurer
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing board members, whose commitment and leadership have supported the Association throughout this transition.
Kathleen Lawrence, BSN, RN, COHN, FAAOHN - President
Amy Stephens, BSN, RN, COHC - Treasurer
Anne Mills, MSN, RN, COHN-S - Secretary
Over the past months, we have been actively working on completing the board transition and planning to expand educational offerings in the near future. As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to supporting the professional development of Occupational Health Nurses through continuing education, mentoring, networking, and leadership opportunities.
Our vision is to strengthen member engagement and increase access to high‑quality educational programs.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, suggestions, or concerns. We look forward to an exciting and productive year together!
Warm regards,
